Social selling 01: Set your goal
First, you need to figure out what you want to accomplish on social media. Your goals may include:
- Generating new leads.
- Building your mailing list.
- Building brand recognition.
- Developing relationships with prospects.
- Sending traffic to your website.
- Getting direct sales from the platform.
Here’s a hint: direct sales right off a social platform is one of the hardest hills to climb.
You’ll do better if you create a strategy of establishing your expertise/ building your brand, developing relationships with prospects, and then sending them to your lead page so that you can begin following up with them via email.
